I started photography when I was 15 years old and living in Bonn, Germany. I always had a good report with children and found them easy to capture with my camera. I was a yearbook photographer for three years which gave me ample time to practice photographing people. I worked with pre-school age children in the summers and found them fun and easy to photograph too. This began my interest in child photography. Later I would include family sessions as well as Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, weddings, and special events such as birthday celebrations or anniversaries.
I later used these skills for public relations purposes for The National Electrical Manufactures Association while working there in the early 1990's and again when I worked for the conference department at United Communications Group in Gaithersburg, Maryland. I do candid photography and enjoy working on location than in a studio. I have also included photo restoration to my body of work. Look through your old boxes of photos and let me bring them back to life again. I have a degree in Fine Arts from the Corcoran School of Art, Washington, DC. Concentration in both Photography and Painting. I've had my work published in The Washington Post, Bethesda Magazine, Home & Design magazine, Parent & Child magazine, Industry Week, Families Only magazine and other local publications. |
